The Pay At Close
After losing his mother, this homeowner faced a difficult situation. The property needed to be prepared for sale, but the renovations required to make it financeable and market ready were simply out of reach financially. Kieffer Projects found a way to help. We completed the full remodel with only a small down payment from the client, structuring the project so the bulk of our costs were paid from the sale proceeds through escrow once the home closed.
This wasn’t a standard remodel with a standard payment schedule. It was a solution built for a homeowner who needed one most, at a time when he had enough on his plate already.
The homeowner needed to renovate the property to make it financeable and ready for sale, but did not have the funds available to pay for the remodel upfront.
Additional inspection items came up during the sale process, requiring further repairs at a point when the homeowner still had no extra money to put toward the project.
Kieffer Projects structured the project around a small down payment, completing the full remodel needed to make the home financeable without requiring the homeowner to pay in full upfront.
When inspection repairs came up, our team returned to handle them without asking for additional money upfront, working alongside the homeowner and his realtor until the sale successfully closed and our costs were paid through escrow.
